About our history
Atomic Threads started life when Paul Lawson acquired the assets of an existing Hayden business, Athlete’s Choice Apparel, which had been in operating for approximately 11 years prior. After months of planning and upon completion of the interior buildout in the brand new industrial complex Dakota Park, we moved the operation to our current location at 2195 West Dakota Ave. in Hayden, Idaho. Shortly after the move, we changed the name to Atomic Threads, Inc., in reference to the key man’s interest in Manhattan Project history. In April of 2010 that key man, Andrew Willis purchased the corporation and has been at the helm ever since. Under Willis’ leadership, gross receipt have steadily and rapidly climbed each year. In three short years, gross sales are up over 250% and show no sign of slowing down. Starting with a staff of “one and a half men” (one full and one part timer), Willis’ staff has grown considerably and averages 8 – 10 full time employees and during busy periods upwards of 14.
Thank you to all of those who have supported us! We sincerely appreciate all that you have done!
