A Mission to Support Small Businesses

A Mission to Support Small Businesses

A fundraiser designed to help small local businesses affected by the COVID-19 quarantine, during the shutdown.

In an instant, most of our business colleagues were not able to operate. With no revenue coming in, we knew that our friends (and ourselves) were in big, big trouble. We had to do something.

Using our then brand-new Online Store tech, we launched a store with a crystal clear mission: to help keep our people in business through the shutdown. Here's how we were able to help:

How It Worked

Logo Submission: Clients & new-to-us business contacts alike sent us their logo or design for us to mock up on a T-shirt.

Online Sales: We made their shirt available for purchase by the general public through the Print It Forward online store site.

Marketing and Revenue Sharing

Marketing and Revenue Sharing

Spread the Word: Business owners were encouraged to market their shirt to their contact lists as much as humanly possible, and the AT team did the same.

Revenue Sharing: We sold shirts for $20/each and $10 of that went directly to the business whose shirts were purchased. AT covered our costs & was able to keep running, while closed businesses could have at least some precious cash still flowing.

Some businesses opted to have their proceeds donated to local non-profit CDAIDE, which supports food & beverage industry workers.

This initiative helped some of the people most heavily affected by the shutdown order, in addition to small business owners.

Several clients later told us that the money raised by the community through Print It Forward was the only money they had coming in, for weeks.

We were overwhelmed by the response and support from individuals in our community and were overjoyed to have played a small part in helping our business owner friends and CDAIDE through such a challenging time.
